Gijs is an enthusiastic, amiable and goal oriented consultant who helps organisations make impactful transformations. He enjoys puzzling with complex challenges, working together with the client to translate complexity into value for the organisation and society. Gijs has extensive experience as a consultant and project manager within the energy and water sector in the fields of (digital) transformation, organisational change and process management. His focus is predominantly around making an impact on and acceleration the energy transition throughout across all involved stakeholders.

Master Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences with a specialisation in Urban Design focused on complex inner city challenges.

People and organizations that inspire me

People who a realize an idea into a tangible and sustainable solution with an impact on climate and society on an economic and social level. Elon Musk is a much named and famed example of how one person can impact the global climate and energy transition, can stick to ones ideals and does not mince his words (even though often goes too far in my opinion).

Bjarne Ingles, because he as an architect can translate his imagination and complex design into crystal clear and simplistic concepts.

Jane Jacobs, for her activism and theory’s around community-based urban design and bottom-up urban planning. In which local mixed communities are empowered to deliver sustainable value for inner city cohabitation.
