Flip is an experienced strategy advisor and transformation leader, helping organizations grow, professionalize, and unlock new value. Over the past twenty years, he has combined board-level advisory work with hands-on leadership, guiding companies through growth journeys, M&A processes, and large-scale transformation programs. He thrives on building strong teams and believes that real impact happens when people are empowered to go beyond themselves. In recent years, he has increasingly focused on embedding sustainability and leveraging data and digitalization as key drivers of long-term value.

People and organizations that inspire me

My inspiration comes from a diverse range of people and places. But if I had to highlight four particularly inspiring individuals right now, it would be these:

Sifan Hassan, fleeing Ethiopia on her own at the age of 15, went on to win Olympic gold.

Yvon Chouinard (Patagonia), continuously pushing for better in one of the world’s most polluting industries.

Angela Merkel, staying true to yourself in incredibly complex situations: honest, sincere, solution-oriented, positive — and yes, even then, you’ll make mistakes (read: Freiheit).

Sir David Attenborough, still so passionate at 99, continues to share powerful and beautiful messages about people and nature. Truly remarkable.

What I like to do in my spare time

All kinds of sports, kickboxing, skiing, running, cycling. I love cheering on my daughters at their hockey matches. When I can find a quiet moment, there’s nothing better than getting into a good book. I also enjoy spending time pottering around in our garden. Long, relaxed dinners with friends and family are my favorite. And during the holidays, I love discovering beautiful and unique places with my family.
