municipalities and implementation organizations, requires a tailored approach due to their unique dynamics. That is why in 2025, the \u201cPublic and Social Domain\u201d team was established, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/suzannehelming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Suzanne Nederlof<\/a> took on the leadership of that team. As we grow, it\u2019s important to develop a clear focus. We are expanding our expertise and providing structure around various themes. What started as a compact team handling all assignments together has now grown to over 100 consultants in the Netherlands and Denmark&#8221;<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p><p>Our expertise and experience in the public sector have increased significantly in recent years, enabling us to better support a wider range of organizations. Additionally, in January 2025, nlmtd acquired TNW Programs, and the Aimforthemoon team joined us. Below, I outline the four main areas where we are actively involved:<\/em>&#8220;<\/p><ol><li>For organizations that need to undergo significant transitions in a short period, we help achieve results while considering both short-term and long-term goals, all within a complex stakeholder landscape. This was particularly evident during the scaling up of the GGDs (Municipal Health Services) during the COVID-19 crisis, as well as in our current work with the IMG (Implementation Management Group) for victims of earthquake damage. We are also exploring the potential application of nuclear energy for the KGG ministry, in addition to improving pandemic preparedness for the Netherlands at the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment). These initiatives present long-term challenges at the intersection of politics and citizens&#8217; needs.<\/li><li>Effective communication with citizens is crucial in many of these initiatives. By employing Design Thinking, particularly Service Design, we help develop new services and tools that prioritize citizens. This ensures they receive timely and clear information, appropriate guidance, and feel truly heard and understood.<\/li><li>Another focus of our services is setting up Innovative Ecosystems and Cluster Development. A notable example of our expertise is the establishment and acceleration of innovative procurement processes within public organizations. Often seen as a barrier to effective innovation and collaboration, with the right experience and attention, these processes can be streamlined effectively. The acquisition of TNW Programs has significantly enhanced nlmtd&#8217;s capabilities in this area. For instance, we have served as the Ecosystem Orchestrator for Schiphol Group for three years.
